Simple Apple Cinnamon Cake with Sweet Glaze
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 apples, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
Glaze
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Preparation
Beat the eggs with sugar, oil, and milk in a blender
Mix the sifted flour with baking powder and cinnamon
In a greased and floured pan, distribute the thinly sliced apples (keep them in water with a drop of lemon to prevent browning)
Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for 30 to 35 minutes and do the toothpick test
Prepare a syrup with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water and pour over the cake immediately after removing from the oven
