Simple Apple Cinnamon Cake with Sweet Glaze

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation

  1. Beat the eggs with sugar, oil, and milk in a blender

  2. Mix the sifted flour with baking powder and cinnamon

  3. In a greased and floured pan, distribute the thinly sliced apples (keep them in water with a drop of lemon to prevent browning)

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for 30 to 35 minutes and do the toothpick test

  5. Prepare a syrup with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water and pour over the cake immediately after removing from the oven
