Super Easy Marble Cake Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Chocolate swirl

  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Preparation

  1. Beat eggs, sugar, oil, milk, flour, cornstarch, and baking powder by hand until smooth

  2. Divide the batter in half and mix cocoa powder into one half until smooth

  3. Spoon alternating dollops of vanilla and chocolate batter into a greased baking pan

  4. Swirl gently with a toothpick to create a marbled pattern

  5. Bake at 180Β°C (350Β°F) until golden brown

Tips

  1. This cake is very light and can be made without a mixer for a tender texture
