Creamy Brazilian Cornmeal Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 50g parmesan or mozzarella

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients except baking powder in a blender until the mixture is homogeneous

  2. Turn off the blender and gently mix in the baking powder

  3. Pour the mixture into a greased and cornmeal-dusted 20cm baking pan

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for about 40 minutes or until the cake is golden

  5. Remove from the oven and let cool before unmolding
