- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla
Wetting mixture
- 1 tablespoon plain instant coffee (Nescafe)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup milk
Cream mixture
- 3 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon starch
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 80 grams milk chocolate
- 1 packet plain whipped cream powder
Preparation
First, prepare the cream by mixing flour, starch, and sugar in a pot.
Add milk and cook on medium heat, stirring until it boils.
Add butter and chopped chocolate and stir until melted, then cover and let cool.
For the cake, beat eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
Add orange zest, milk, and vegetable oil and mix lightly.
Sift baking powder, vanilla, cocoa, and flour into the mixture and stir with a spatula.
Pour the batter into a greased large baking dish.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
Prepare the wetting mixture by dissolving instant coffee in water and milk.
Once the cake is baked and cooled, pour the wetting mixture over it.
Add whipped cream powder to the cooled cream and beat for about 2 minutes.
Pour the cream over the cake, spread it evenly, and decorate as desired.
Tips
If the cream is too thick, add a little milk to adjust the consistency.
