Easy Vanilla Sponge Cake
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 280g sugar
- 10g vanilla sugar
- 270g flour
- 10g baking powder
- 110g milk at room temperature
- 55g vegetable oil
- 5 tablespoons boiling water
Preparation
Beat eggs with sugar.
Pour in milk and oil, gently mix from bottom to top.
Add flour mixed with baking powder in three stages, each time gently mixing the batter.
At the end, add boiling water.
Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for about 30-40 minutes at 160-170 degrees Celsius (adjust for your oven).
Wrap the finished biscuit in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
After that, you can assemble the cake.
