Moist Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup flour
- 1 packet baking powder
Sauce
- 2 cups milk
- slightly less than 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 50 grams bitter chocolate
Preparation
Beat the eggs and sugar together for about five minutes.
Sift the cocoa, flour, and baking powder before adding them along with the liquid ingredients and mix well.
Pour the batter into a rectangular baking dish and bake at 180 degrees Celsius until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
While the cake is baking, prepare the sauce by boiling all sauce ingredients except chocolate for one boil.
Turn off the heat, add the chocolate, and stir until melted.
Once the cake is done and hot, poke holes in it with a fork and pour the hot sauce over it.
Allow the sauce to absorb for a minute or two, then slice and serve.
Tips
The batter consistency may not be as fluid as typical cake batter, but that is normal.
