Lemon Cake with Zest and Juice
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 cups flour
- 1 packet vanilla
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
Preparation
Beat eggs and sugar until white and foamy.
Add the liquid ingredients and continue beating.
Add lemon juice and lemon zest.
Sift flour, baking powder, vanilla, and turmeric, then mix with a spatula.
Pour the batter into a greased baking mold lightly sprinkled with sugar.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40 to 45 minutes.
