Gnocchi Stuffed Tiger Bread Boat

Ingredients

  • Tiger bread loaf
  • Garlic butter
  • Garlic
  • Chives
  • Potato gnocchi
  • Grated mozzarella cheese
  • Salad

Tomato sauce

  • Tomato puree
  • Water
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian herbs
  • Sweetener or sugar

Preparation

  1. Scoop out the end of a tiger bread loaf and save the pieces.

  2. Brush the inside of the bread boat with garlic butter.

  3. Boil the potato gnocchi for a minute, drain, and fry until preferred.

  4. Mix tomato puree, water, garlic powder, Italian herbs, and sweetener or sugar to make the tomato sauce.

  5. Mix half the gnocchi with the tomato sauce.

  6. Fill the bread boat with the sauced gnocchi, then top with the plain gnocchi and grated mozzarella.

  7. Coat the leftover bread pieces with garlic butter and place them on a tray with the bread boat.

  8. Bake everything at 200°C for 10 minutes.

  9. Serve with salad.
