Oil-Free Baked Potato Fries
Ingredients
- 1 medium sweet potato
- 1 large Russet potato
- 2-3 teaspoons herbs and spices (e.g., mixed herbs, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Thoroughly dry the potatoes using a paper towel or clean tea towel.
Slice the potatoes into long thick pieces and place into a large bowl.
Sprinkle on your choice of herbs and spices, salt, and pepper, and evenly coat the potatoes.
If using an air fryer, toss the potatoes into the basket and bake at 200°C for 45 minutes or until golden on the outside and soft on the inside, giving the basket a toss at the 25-minute mark.
If using an oven, preheat oven to 200°C, line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper, and evenly spread the fries without overlapping or touching.
For oven method, at the 20-25 minute mark, flip the fries and cook for an additional 20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Serve immediately with a side salad and guacamole.
