Oil-Free Baked Potatoes with Herbs and Spices

Ingredients

  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 1 large Russet potato
  • 2-3 teaspoons favorite herbs and spices (e.g., mixed herbs, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. After washing your potatoes, thoroughly dry them using a paper towel or clean tea towel.

  2. Slice into long thick pieces and place into a large bowl.

  3. Sprinkle on your choice of herbs and spices and evenly coat potatoes.

  4. If using an air fryer, toss the potatoes into the basket, turn on and bake at 200°C for 45 minutes or until golden on the outside and soft on the inside, giving the basket a toss at the 25 minute mark.

  5. If using an oven, preheat oven to 200°C, line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper and evenly spread your fries on, ensuring that they don't overlap or touch. At the 20-25 minute mark, give your fries a flip and cook for an additional 20 minutes until golden and cooked through.

  6. Serve immediately with a side salad and guacamole! Enjoy!
