Simple Homemade Crackers for Cheese Board
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
Preparation
Combine the flour, salt, sugar, oil, and water to form a dough; add a bit more water if needed.
Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface, even thinner than you think to ensure crispiness.
Cut the dough into squares using a pizza cutter.
Brush the squares with water and sprinkle with more sea salt.
Pierce each cracker a few times with a fork.
Bake on parchment paper at 450°F for 15 minutes or until desired crispiness, making sure to watch to avoid burning.
Serve with cheese and vegetables.
