Simple Homemade Crackers for Cheese Board

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation

  1. Combine the flour, salt, sugar, oil, and water to form a dough; add a bit more water if needed.

  2. Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface, even thinner than you think to ensure crispiness.

  3. Cut the dough into squares using a pizza cutter.

  4. Brush the squares with water and sprinkle with more sea salt.

  5. Pierce each cracker a few times with a fork.

  6. Bake on parchment paper at 450°F for 15 minutes or until desired crispiness, making sure to watch to avoid burning.

  7. Serve with cheese and vegetables.
