Turkish Su Böreği Pastry

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • Half tea glass of water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 250 grams melted butter
  • 6 sheets baklava phyllo dough
  • Cheese
  • Parsley

Preparation

  1. Knead a firm dough with eggs, water, and salt

  2. Roll out the dough into 12 pieces that are neither too thick nor too thin

  3. Add 3-4 tablespoons of salt to boiling water and boil each dough sheet for 30-40 seconds

  4. Grease a baking tray generously with butter, place 3 sheets of the dough, then layer all the boiled sheets and add cheese and parsley after the 6th sheet

  5. Place another sheet on top, grease the top, and bake in a 190-degree oven until golden brown

Notes

  1. The original Su Böreği is cooked on the stove with unboiled sheets placed at the bottom and top
