Turkish Su Böreği Pastry
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- Half tea glass of water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 250 grams melted butter
- 6 sheets baklava phyllo dough
- Cheese
- Parsley
Preparation
Knead a firm dough with eggs, water, and salt
Roll out the dough into 12 pieces that are neither too thick nor too thin
Add 3-4 tablespoons of salt to boiling water and boil each dough sheet for 30-40 seconds
Grease a baking tray generously with butter, place 3 sheets of the dough, then layer all the boiled sheets and add cheese and parsley after the 6th sheet
Place another sheet on top, grease the top, and bake in a 190-degree oven until golden brown
Notes
The original Su Böreği is cooked on the stove with unboiled sheets placed at the bottom and top
