Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower head
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
Garlic mayo
- 1/3 cup vegan mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tsp lime juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp maple syrup
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 450°F.
Cut the cauliflower head into bite-sized florets.
In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and ground pepper.
Stir in the unsweetened soy milk to form a smooth batter.
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, coating it evenly, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle the olive oil over the coated cauliflower florets.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the buffalo sauce by mixing the Frank’s Red Hot Sauce in a bowl.
Remove the baked cauliflower from the oven and toss it in the buffalo sauce until well coated.
In a small bowl, combine the vegan mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic powder, and maple syrup to make the garlic mayo.
Serve the buffalo cauliflower wings hot with the garlic mayo as a dip.
