Vegetarian Katsu Gyro Wrap

Ingredients

  • 3 Quorn breaded fillets
  • Greek style flatbread
  • Salad (assorted vegetables)

Curry sauce

  • 200ml water
  • 1 vegetable stock pot
  • 1 tablespoon mild curry powder
  • Sweetener (to taste)
  • Splash of white wine vinegar
  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • Ground ginger (to taste)
  • Onion salt (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour

Preparation

  1. Oven cook the Quorn breaded fillets according to package instructions.

  2. For the curry sauce, combine water, vegetable stock pot, mild curry powder, sweetener, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, ground ginger, and onion salt in a pan.

  3. Bring the sauce to a bubble, then pass it through a metal sieve and return it to the pan.

  4. Mix cornflour with a little cold water, add to the bubbling sauce, and stir briskly.

  5. Assemble the gyros by placing the cooked fillets, curry sauce, and salad in the flatbread and serve.
