Cauliflower and Broccoli Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 whole cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1/2 broccoli cut into florets
  • 2 cups of flour
  • egg replacer. i use organ (you will need to replace 2 eggs)
  • i cup of cashew milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 2 teaspoon of salt
  • pepper
  • 1/3 cup of soy
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup
  • sunflower oil for frying

Preparation

  1. In a pot with boiling salted water add the cauliflower, broccoli and cook for 6 minutes

  2. Drain and set aside

  3. In a bowl place the milk and apple cider vinegar

  4. Let it stand for 10 minutes

  5. In another bowl prepare the egg replacer and then combine with the milk mixture

  6. In another bowl place the flour, salt, paprika, pepper, parsley, garlic, and combine

  7. Dip the cauliflower in the wet mixture then then the dry again

  8. Repeat the process

  9. Fry and place on absorbent paper and serve with a maple and tamari sauce or any sauce you like

  10. Maple and tamari sauce

  11. In a saucepan place the maple syrup and tamari sauce and cook for 5 minutes

  12. Set aside to cool
