Chocolate and Berry Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- 50g (1/2 cup) oats
- 2 tbsp plain, vanilla or chocolate yoghurt
- 1 handful fresh or frozen berries
- 1 tsp cocoa powder or drinking chocolate
- 10 tbsp boiling water
- 1 tbsp sweetener, sugar, or syrup
Preparation
Put boiling water and oats in a bowl and stir with a spoon to combine.
Leave aside for five minutes to thicken.
Add all of the other ingredients into the bowl and stir with a spoon to combine.
Spoon the mixture into a container with a lid or empty jar, put the lid on, and leave in the fridge overnight or for at least 4 hours. It can also be eaten straight away.
Notes
Use gluten-free oats and dairy-free yoghurt for gluten-free and vegan options.
