Crispy Tofu Tenders

Ingredients

  • 1 block high protein extra firm tofu

Batter

  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Breading

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pinch pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F and line baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Cut tofu into strips.

  3. Whisk batter ingredients together, then dip tofu in it.

  4. Dip tofu in breadcrumb mixture.

  5. Lay on baking sheet.

  6. Bake or airfry for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Tips

  1. Mix leftover batter with buffalo sauce and use as a dip.
