Crispy Baked Tofu Tenders

Ingredients

  • 1 block high protein extra firm tofu

Batter

  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Breading

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pinch pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cut the tofu into strips.

  3. Whisk the batter ingredients together.

  4. Dip the tofu strips in the batter.

  5. Dip the tofu strips in the breadcrumb mixture.

  6. Lay the coated tofu on the baking sheet.

  7. Bake or air-fry for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Tips

  1. Mix any leftover batter with buffalo sauce to use as a dip.
