Easy Homemade Snickers Truffle Bites

Ingredients

  • 200g Medjool dates
  • 20g peanut butter
  • 90g unsalted peanuts
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • Fleur de sel

Preparation

  1. Pit the dates and cover them with hot water for at least 10 minutes.

  2. Remove the excess water and place them in a blender with the peanut butter. Blend until smooth.

  3. Meanwhile, roast the peanuts (if necessary) over high heat in a pan for 2 minutes.

  4. Transfer the date mixture to a large bowl and add the roasted peanuts; stir to combine.

  5. Freeze the mixture for 30 minutes to 1 hour until firm enough to work with.

  6. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.

  7. Scoop 20g portions of the mixture, shape them slightly, and coat with the melted chocolate.

  8. Refrigerate until set, or leave outside to set.
