Easy Homemade Snickers Truffle Bites
Ingredients
- 200g Medjool dates
- 20g peanut butter
- 90g unsalted peanuts
- 200g dark chocolate
- Fleur de sel
Preparation
Pit the dates and cover them with hot water for at least 10 minutes.
Remove the excess water and place them in a blender with the peanut butter. Blend until smooth.
Meanwhile, roast the peanuts (if necessary) over high heat in a pan for 2 minutes.
Transfer the date mixture to a large bowl and add the roasted peanuts; stir to combine.
Freeze the mixture for 30 minutes to 1 hour until firm enough to work with.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Scoop 20g portions of the mixture, shape them slightly, and coat with the melted chocolate.
Refrigerate until set, or leave outside to set.
