Home Fries and Sausage Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon ITALIAN Blend
  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • 1 tablespoon cooking fat
  • 2 large Yukon Gold potatoes par-boiled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons DINER Blend

Garnish

  • Red pepper flakes
  • Coarse sea salt
  • Chopped fresh chives

Preparation

  1. Brown the ground pork with the Italian blend in a skillet.

  2. Heat the cooking fat in the skillet and add the diced par-boiled potatoes; cook until browned.

  3. Add the chopped kale and cook until softened.

  4. Stir in the Diner blend and heat through.

  5. Serve with optional garnish.

Tips

  1. Precook the potatoes ahead of time by boiling until fork-tender and store in the refrigerator until ready to cut and brown.
