Creamy Stovetop Oats with Salted Peanut Butter and Caramelized Bananas

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup gluten free oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or 1 tbsp ground flax seeds (optional)
  • Dashes of cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 scoop of protein of choice
  • 1 cup milk of choice

Toppings

  • Banana
  • Raspberry
  • Peanut butter
  • Salt

Preparation

  1. Stir all ingredients together in one pot.

  2. Bring to almost a boil, then immediately turn down to simmer.

  3. Stir frequently until thick and creamy.

  4. Sear banana in a greased pan over medium heat for 30-45 seconds on one side only.

  5. Top the oats with caramelized banana, raspberry, peanut butter, and a pinch of salt.
