Salted Peanut Butter Chocolate Caramelized Banana Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup gluten free oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or 1 tbsp ground flax seeds (optional)
  • 1 heaping tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon + a pinch of salt
  • 1 scoop of protein of choice
  • 1 cup milk of choice

Toppings

  • Caramelized banana
  • Raspberry
  • Peanut butter
  • Cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Stir everything together in one pot.

  2. Bring to almost boil, immediately turn down to simmer.

  3. Stir frequently until thick and creamy.

Topping

  1. Caramelize banana slices in a pan until golden.

  2. Add fresh raspberry, peanut butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top of the oats.

Tips

  1. Using pea protein can make the oats thicker.
