Creamy Stovetop Oatmeal with Toppings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup gluten free oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds or 1 tbsp ground flax seeds (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- a pinch of salt
- 1 scoop protein powder of choice
- 1 cup milk of choice
Toppings
- banana
- blueberries
- peanut butter
- sea salt
- granola
- cinnamon
Preparation
Stir all ingredients together in one pot.
Bring to almost a boil, then immediately reduce to a simmer.
Stir frequently until thick and creamy.
Add desired toppings and serve.
Tips
Using pea protein can make the oatmeal thicker and creamier.
