Creamy Stovetop Oatmeal with Toppings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup gluten free oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or 1 tbsp ground flax seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 scoop protein powder of choice
  • 1 cup milk of choice

Toppings

  • banana
  • blueberries
  • peanut butter
  • sea salt
  • granola
  • cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Stir all ingredients together in one pot.

  2. Bring to almost a boil, then immediately reduce to a simmer.

  3. Stir frequently until thick and creamy.

  4. Add desired toppings and serve.

Tips

  1. Using pea protein can make the oatmeal thicker and creamier.
