Caramelized Banana Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bowl
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup gluten free oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
- 1 tbsp ground flax seeds (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- a pinch of salt
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1 cup milk of choice
Toppings
- banana
- peanut butter
- sea salt
- cinnamon
Preparation
Stir together all oatmeal ingredients in one pot.
Bring to almost a boil, then immediately reduce heat to simmer and stir frequently until thick and creamy.
Slice the banana and caramelize it in a pan with a little butter and sugar until golden
Add the caramelized banana, peanut butter, sea salt, and cinnamon as toppings to the oatmeal bowl
