Caramelized Banana Peanut Butter Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup gluten free oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds or 1 tbsp ground flax seeds (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon and a pinch of salt
- 1 scoop of protein of choice
- 1 cup milk of choice
Toppings
- Caramelized banana
- Blackberry
- Peanut butter
- Cinnamon
Preparation
Stir all ingredients together in one pot.
Bring to almost boil, then immediately turn down to simmer.
Stir frequently until thick and creamy.
Topping
Slice bananas and cook in a pan with butter and sugar until caramelized and browned
Assemble by adding caramelized banana, blackberry, peanut butter, and cinnamon on top of the oatmeal
