Homemade Spaghetti Bolognese Dish
Ingredients
- 100-150g spaghetti, boiled
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp celery, chopped and squeezed (optional)
- oil for sautéing
Bolognese sauce
- 100g ground beef
- 50g button mushrooms or chopped carrots (optional)
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, blanched, peeled, seeded, and roughly chopped
- 5-7 tbsp tomato sauce (to taste)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 150-200ml water
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp basil
- salt, pepper, sugar to taste
- oil for sautéing
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, add the boiled spaghetti and chopped celery, stir well, then remove from heat and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan, sauté the chopped onion until fragrant, add the ground beef, and stir until it changes color.
Add the button mushrooms and chopped tomatoes, stir well, then add tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, ground pepper, and sugar, and stir to combine.
Pour in water, cook on medium heat until the mixture is cooked and flavors are absorbed, add oregano and basil, and stir well.
Pour the sauce over the spaghetti and serve.
