Instant Oats and Brown Rice Dosa
Ingredients
- Brown rice Flour - 1/2 cup
- Oats Flour - 1 cup
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 3-4 cups
- Oil - 2 tbsp
Preparation
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together to make a runny paste.
Heat a non-stick or iron pan until very hot, then lower the temperature before pouring the batter.
Pour the batter onto the pan, set the flame to high heat to make it crispy, drizzle oil around the edges, and wait until the edges turn golden brown and lift from the sides.
Gently flip and cook the other side if necessary, ensuring it is thoroughly cooked.
Serve with coriander chutney or tomato sauce.
Notes
This is an instant version of dosa, requiring no fermentation and ready in about 10 minutes.
It provides a healthy, nutritious option rich in fiber, manganese, vitamins, and iron for gut and brain health.
