Marvelous Three Milks Cake

Ingredients

Cake

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • a pinch of salt

Topping

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 box heavy cream
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 1 fresh coconut, grated (or 1 packet sweetened shredded coconut, moistened)

Preparation

Cake

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form in a mixer, then add egg yolks and mix well

  2. Turn off the mixer and gradually add the sifted flour, then the sugar, baking powder, and salt

  3. Bake in a greased and floured bundt pan in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius until a toothpick inserted comes out clean

  4. Let the cake cool, then unmold it into a deep glass dish and set aside

Topping and assembly

  1. Blend sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, and coconut milk in a blender

  2. Pour the mixture over the cake and refrigerate for 2 hours

  3. Before serving, drizzle with some of the cream that settles at the bottom and sprinkle with grated coconut
