Roasted Maple Bacon Butternut Squash
Ingredients
- 1 medium butternut squash
- 1/2 pack of bacon
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
Peel and dice the butternut squash
Toss the squash in oil, salt, and pepper, then bake for 15 minutes
Meanwhile, cook the bacon on the stovetop until crispy, or use an air fryer
Remove the squash from the oven and toss it with the crumbled bacon and maple syrup
Return the mixture to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes
