Maple Bacon Wrapped Scallops

Ingredients

  • Scallops
  • Bacon
  • Maple syrup

Optional seasonings

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chili flakes

Preparation

  1. Cook bacon for a few minutes until almost done but still pliable.

  2. Pat dry scallops and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Wrap half a piece of bacon around each scallop and secure with a toothpick.

  4. Add oil to a skillet and once hot, add the scallops spread apart.

  5. Cook for 2 minutes per side on medium-high heat.

  6. Transfer to a serving platter and drizzle with maple syrup.

  7. Optionally, garnish with pomegranate seeds.
