Maple Bacon Wrapped Scallops
Ingredients
- Scallops
- Bacon
- Maple syrup
Optional seasonings
- Salt
- Pepper
- Chili flakes
Preparation
Cook bacon for a few minutes until almost done but still pliable.
Pat dry scallops and season with salt and pepper.
Wrap half a piece of bacon around each scallop and secure with a toothpick.
Add oil to a skillet and once hot, add the scallops spread apart.
Cook for 2 minutes per side on medium-high heat.
Transfer to a serving platter and drizzle with maple syrup.
Optionally, garnish with pomegranate seeds.
