Chicken Biryani for Dinner

Ingredients

  • Oil
  • Chopped onions
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Salt
  • Raw chicken
  • Tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp chicken masala
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp maggi masala-e-magic
  • Rice
  • Water

Preparation

  1. Add oil to pressure cooker, then add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste, cook until light brown.

  2. Add raw chicken with salt and stir well for 10 minutes.

  3. Remove chicken from cooker and add tomato puree and spices: 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp chicken masala, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp maggi masala-e-magic.

  4. Cook until the masala colors get a little brown.

  5. Add back the chicken and cook until the masala covers the chicken well.

  6. Add rice and water.

  7. Lock the pressure cooker and cook until 2-3 whistles.

  8. That's it, it's done.
