Quick and Easy Sesame Baby Bok Choy

Ingredients

  • 8-10 baby bok choy bulbs
  • 1.5 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated or pressed
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable broth

Garnish

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. Cut off ends of bok choy bulbs, separate each leaf and wash well under running water.

  2. In a large frying pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and add ginger and garlic. Let cook for 1 minute.

  3. Add in bok choy and mix around to coat well with oil mixture.

  4. Pour in soy sauce, sesame oil, vegetable broth and mix.

  5. Let cook for about 3 minutes until the thick part of the bok choy becomes tender and most of the liquid has evaporated.

  6. Place on a serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
