Quick and Easy Sesame Baby Bok Choy
Ingredients
- 8-10 baby bok choy bulbs
- 1.5 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1 tsp ginger, grated or pressed
- 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable broth
Garnish
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Preparation
Cut off ends of bok choy bulbs, separate each leaf and wash well under running water.
In a large frying pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and add ginger and garlic. Let cook for 1 minute.
Add in bok choy and mix around to coat well with oil mixture.
Pour in soy sauce, sesame oil, vegetable broth and mix.
Let cook for about 3 minutes until the thick part of the bok choy becomes tender and most of the liquid has evaporated.
Place on a serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
