Wholemeal Butter Milk Pancakes

Ingredients

  • Butter milk
  • 1 cup of soya milk
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar/lemon juice
  • 1 cup of wholemeal flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of pink salt

Preparation

  1. Mix together & leave for 10 minutes

  2. Mix in the butter milk & pour into a hot pan with a little oil. Cook for around 1-2 minutes until the surface starts to bubble. Flip & cook the other side

  3. Using butter milk makes the pancakes light & fluffy

  4. I don't add sweetener to my pancakes (I get the sweetness from the fruit) but you can use maple syrup or agave nectar
