Wholemeal Butter Milk Pancakes
Ingredients
- Butter milk
- 1 cup of soya milk
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar/lemon juice
- 1 cup of wholemeal flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of pink salt
Preparation
Mix together & leave for 10 minutes
Mix in the butter milk & pour into a hot pan with a little oil. Cook for around 1-2 minutes until the surface starts to bubble. Flip & cook the other side
Using butter milk makes the pancakes light & fluffy
I don't add sweetener to my pancakes (I get the sweetness from the fruit) but you can use maple syrup or agave nectar
