Cheese and Parsley Borek
Ingredients
- Yufka dough or baklava dough or lavash
- Labneh cheese 200 grams
- Mozzarella cheese 100 grams
- Chopped parsley half cup
- Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
Mixture
- Milk half cup
- Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons
- Half an egg (optional, add a little garlic and pepper if used)
Preparation
Mix the cheese, parsley, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to prepare the filling.
In a separate bowl, combine the milk, oil, and half an egg if using, along with a small amount of garlic and pepper.
Brush the dough with the mixture, add the filling, and fold into desired borek shapes.
Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown and crispy.
