Cheese and Parsley Borek

Ingredients

  • Yufka dough or baklava dough or lavash
  • Labneh cheese 200 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese 100 grams
  • Chopped parsley half cup
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

Mixture

  • Milk half cup
  • Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons
  • Half an egg (optional, add a little garlic and pepper if used)

Preparation

  1. Mix the cheese, parsley, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to prepare the filling.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, oil, and half an egg if using, along with a small amount of garlic and pepper.

  3. Brush the dough with the mixture, add the filling, and fold into desired borek shapes.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown and crispy.
