Crispy Hand-Rolled Spinach Kol Borek
Ingredients
Dough
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 7.5-8 cups flour
Filling
- 1 kg spinach
- 1 packet lor cheese
- 1 egg
- salt
- red pepper flakes
- black pepper
For brushing
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Preparation
Mix the dough ingredients together, knead until smooth, and let rest for about 30 minutes.
Prepare the filling by combining the spinach, lor cheese, egg, salt, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
Roll out the dough into thin sheets and brush with vegetable oil.
Spread the filling evenly over the dough, then roll it into a log shape.
Place the rolled borek on a baking tray, brush the top with oil, and bake in a preheated oven until golden and crispy.
