Easy Vegan Cheese Sauce Blend

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup raw cashews or sunflower seeds (pre-soaked)
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2-3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients together until smooth.

  2. Pour the sauce over pasta or use it as a dipping sauce.
