French Bean Salad with Peanuts
Ingredients
- 750 g fresh or frozen French beans
- 1 pomegranate
- 1/2 can of peanuts
- 1 tbsp sesame
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt, pepper
- Chilli flakes
Preparation
Blanch the French beans in boiling water for about 2 minutes to keep them crunchy and retain their green color.
Rinse with cold water and dry off.
Peel the pomegranate.
Put all ingredients in a large salad bowl and mix them up.
Notes
French beans are low in calories and low in saturated fat, but high in fiber, vitamin C, and minerals like iron, calcium, and magnesium.
