Homemade Grated Potato Fritters
Ingredients
- 3 potatoes
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon rice flour
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, fried and mashed
- 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon powdered stock
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- A pinch of ground nutmeg (optional)
- As needed oil for frying
Preparation
Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
Grate the potatoes coarsely.
Mix all ingredients except the frying oil until well combined.
Heat oil in a pan.
Fry the mixture one tablespoon at a time until cooked and slightly browned.
Remove from oil and drain.
Tips
Do not peel the potato skins for added nutritional benefits.
This method creates a crispy exterior and soft interior.
