Spicy Carrot Sunbutter Hummus

Ingredients

  • (vegan / PALEO / gf)
  • 3 cups peeled then steamed carrots
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sunflower butter
  • (you can always use tahini too!)
  • 1 sliver of fresh jalapeño
  • 2 tsp ground Turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
  • Sea salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Directions: first blend steamed carrots in food processor until puréed

  2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy

  3. Season to taste! -
