Matcha Nice Cream Protein Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, sliced and frozen
  • 2 dates, soaked
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoons pea protein
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup oat milk
  • Pinch of sea salt

Toppings

  • Fresh berries
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • Desiccated coconut

Preparation

  1. Soak your dates in warm water for at least 15 minutes.

  2. Allow your frozen banana to warm at room temperature for 10 minutes before blending.

  3. Drain the dates and add them to a high-speed blender or food processor along with the other ingredients.

  4. Puree or blend until smooth, scraping the sides as needed.

  5. Add as little oat milk as possible to keep the consistency thick.

  6. Top with fresh berries, chia seeds, and desiccated coconut.
