Gluten-Free Toast with Macadamia Cream Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw, unsalted macadamia nuts
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 teaspoon Himalayan salt
- 1/2 cup finely chopped chives or dill
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin coconut oil
- Optional: nutritional yeast
Preparation
Soak the macadamia nuts in water for 2 hours.
Drain and rinse the nuts.
Blend the nuts with lemon juice, salt, coconut oil, and chives until smooth.
If desired, stir in nutritional yeast for extra flavor.
Toast a slice of gluten-free bread.
Spread the macadamia cream cheese on the toasted bread and serve.
