Homemade Vegan Garlic and Herb Cream Cheese

Ingredients

  • 200g cashew nuts, soaked in hot water for at least 2 hours
  • 2 tbsp plant milk
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 lemon, juice only
  • 1-2 tbsp chives, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Drain and rinse the cashews

  2. Pop all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth

  3. If your blender/food processor hasn’t got enough power you may need to scrape the sides, blend and repeat a few times
