Yeast Bread with Chocolate Filling
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs (whites for dough, yolks for topping)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 6 to 6.5 cups flour
Filling
- 125 grams butter
- A bit of vegetable oil
- Chocolate for spreading
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine milk, water, vegetable oil, egg whites, sugar, salt, and instant yeast
Gradually add flour and knead until a smooth dough forms
Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size
Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle
Spread the butter and a bit of vegetable oil mixture over the dough
Add chocolate for spreading on top
Roll up the dough, shape as desired, and place on a baking sheet
Brush the top with egg yolks
Let rise again for about 30 minutes
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F until golden brown and cooked through
