Yeast Bread with Chocolate Filling

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs (whites for dough, yolks for topping)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 6 to 6.5 cups flour

Filling

  • 125 grams butter
  • A bit of vegetable oil
  • Chocolate for spreading

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine milk, water, vegetable oil, egg whites, sugar, salt, and instant yeast

  2. Gradually add flour and knead until a smooth dough forms

  3. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size

  4. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle

  5. Spread the butter and a bit of vegetable oil mixture over the dough

  6. Add chocolate for spreading on top

  7. Roll up the dough, shape as desired, and place on a baking sheet

  8. Brush the top with egg yolks

  9. Let rise again for about 30 minutes

  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F until golden brown and cooked through
