Sugar-Free Date and Walnut Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 150 gm seedless dates
- 1.5 cup milk
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 tsp instant coffee
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 2 tbs cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- roasted walnuts
- choco chips
Preparation
Soak 150 gm seedless dates in 1.5 cup warm milk
Churn this mixture to make dates puree
Transfer it to a mixing bowl
Add 1/4 cup oil, use any odorless oil
Add 1 tsp instant coffee diluted with water
Whisk well to mix all the wet ingredients
Take a strainer and add 1 cup wheat flour
Add 2 tbs cocoa powder
Add 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp baking soda
Strain and add it to the bowl
Mix everything well with a whisk
Take a baking loaf lined with parchment paper
Pour the mixture into it until 3/4 full
Add roasted walnuts and choco chips on top
Place the loaf in the oven
Pre-heat at 180 degrees for 10 minutes and bake for 40 minutes, or for stove baking, place a stand in a large vessel, pre-heat for 10-15 minutes, place the loaf, cover with a lid, and bake for 60 minutes on low to medium heat
Rest the cake for 1 hour to set
De-mould the cake onto a plate
