Sugar-Free Date and Walnut Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 150 gm seedless dates
  • 1.5 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 tsp instant coffee
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 2 tbs cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • roasted walnuts
  • choco chips

Preparation

  1. Soak 150 gm seedless dates in 1.5 cup warm milk

  2. Churn this mixture to make dates puree

  3. Transfer it to a mixing bowl

  4. Add 1/4 cup oil, use any odorless oil

  5. Add 1 tsp instant coffee diluted with water

  6. Whisk well to mix all the wet ingredients

  7. Take a strainer and add 1 cup wheat flour

  8. Add 2 tbs cocoa powder

  9. Add 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp baking soda

  10. Strain and add it to the bowl

  11. Mix everything well with a whisk

  12. Take a baking loaf lined with parchment paper

  13. Pour the mixture into it until 3/4 full

  14. Add roasted walnuts and choco chips on top

  15. Place the loaf in the oven

  16. Pre-heat at 180 degrees for 10 minutes and bake for 40 minutes, or for stove baking, place a stand in a large vessel, pre-heat for 10-15 minutes, place the loaf, cover with a lid, and bake for 60 minutes on low to medium heat

  17. Rest the cake for 1 hour to set

  18. De-mould the cake onto a plate

  19. Enjoy the dates and walnut chocolate cake
