Vegan Avocado Chocolate Tartar

Ingredients

  • Base
  • 1 1/3 almond meal or leftover granola! (I used my homemade gluten-free granola and it came out great)
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • Around 10 Dates, pitted
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • A bit water as needed
  • Filling
  • 3 ripe avocados
  • Liquid of Aquafaba of 3 cans (whipped until very fluffy)
  • 1/2 cup 100% cacao chocolate or vegan dark chocolate melted
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp pink sea salt

Preparation

  1. Start blending all the base ingredients until a dough forms

  2. Add a bit water if needed

  3. Pour into a tartar pan and freeze

  4. Blend all the filling ingredients until very smooth

  5. Pour on top of your base and leave in the freezer to set for a couple hours

  6. When it’s ready you can serve or transfer to the refrigerator until ready to eat
