Vegan Avocado Chocolate Tartar
Ingredients
- Base
- 1 1/3 almond meal or leftover granola! (I used my homemade gluten-free granola and it came out great)
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/3 cup cacao powder
- Around 10 Dates, pitted
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- A bit water as needed
- Filling
- 3 ripe avocados
- Liquid of Aquafaba of 3 cans (whipped until very fluffy)
- 1/2 cup 100% cacao chocolate or vegan dark chocolate melted
- 1 cup dates
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 Tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp pink sea salt
Preparation
Start blending all the base ingredients until a dough forms
Add a bit water if needed
Pour into a tartar pan and freeze
Blend all the filling ingredients until very smooth
Pour on top of your base and leave in the freezer to set for a couple hours
When it’s ready you can serve or transfer to the refrigerator until ready to eat
