Homemade Blackberry Jam with Gel Sugar
Ingredients
- 500 g blackberries
- 250 g jam sugar (2:1)
Preparation
Wash the fresh blackberries thoroughly and place them in a high pot, mash lightly with a fork
Add the jam sugar and mix well
Boil the berries for about 4 minutes on high heat
Blend the jam for 2 minutes with an immersion blender
Strain the hot jam through a sieve to catch the seeds
Fill the still hot jam into 3 jam jars (500 ml each) and seal well
Serving suggestions
Enjoy on bread or in cream desserts
