Homemade Sugar-Free Blueberry Chia Jam

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple or date syrup (optional)

Preparation

  1. Add blueberries, lemon juice, and water to a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Mash berries and simmer for 3-5 minutes until juicy. Season to taste with salt and optional sweetener.

  2. Remove from heat and stir in chia seeds. Let cool and thicken.

  3. Store in a jar in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
