Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon maple or date syrup (optional)
Preparation
Add blueberries, lemon juice, and water to a medium saucepan over medium low heat, mash berries, and simmer for 3-5 minutes until juicy. Season to taste with salt and optional sweetener.
Remove from heat and stir in chia seeds. Let cool and thicken.
