Creamy Nut Butter Oatmeal Chia Porridge
Ingredients
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup quinoa
- 1 1/3 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups almond or cashew milk
- 2 tsp cashew or almond butter or one of each
- 2 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
Preparation
In a medium saucepan, bring 1 1/3 cup of water to boil and add salt.
Reduce heat and add oatmeal, chia seeds, and quinoa.
Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add almond milk.
Cook for another 4 minutes.
Stir in the nut butter and maple syrup.
Simmer until desired consistency is reached.
Remove from heat and cover.
Let it stand for 2 minutes before serving.
Top with seasonal fruits and enjoy.

Enhance the porridge with toppings like persimmons, pomegranate, dragon fruit, and cacao nibs for added flavor and texture.
