Tea-Soaked Oatmeal Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1 packet tea
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tbsp ground flax seed

Preparation

  1. Bring water and milk to a simmer and then add tea bag to the pot and allow to brew for 1-2 minutes.

  2. Remove tea bag and then add in remaining ingredients.

  3. Stir well and then allow to cook and thicken for 5 minutes while stirring on occasion.

  4. Remove from heat and top as desired.

Notes

  1. This oatmeal can be topped with strawberries, blackberries, cacao nibs, pepita, and peanut butter or other desired toppings.
